How Quantities Are Handled
For the design of the collection system, I tried to make it a balance of simplicity and design. The card grid's show a treatment dropdown and a quantity with a "-" and "+" button. Changing these values will default to the primary print of the card
- The treatment type selected (Classic Paper, etc) will show the quantity you have of ALL codes of that card.
- eg. If you have 3 classic paper of the main card and 2 classic paper copies of and alt coded card, the card grid will show 5 on the card grid.
- This may seem like a weird move but it made the most sense in my head at the time of developing it. If you don't like this, let me know here.
- DON'T TELL ME IT'S BAD WITHOUT A SUGGESTION TO MAKE IT BETTER! That isn't helpful to anyone.
Handling Alternate prints
Clicking on any card will open it's detail drawer. This will show you in plain english all the details of the card, the collection UI at the bottom. If the selected card has any alternate prints (alt arts, starter deck cards, etc) these will be listed at the bottom of the details of the card.
If I have the image for the alt arts, there will be a "preview" button that shows the card art There will also be a "Use" button that you would press to handle the alternate codes in your collection.
- Pressing "Use" will change the active collection view to the alternate coded card. To return to the main card, simply click "Use" and the alternate coded card again and it'll switch back.
